Sensory Den

What is Sensory Den?

Sensory Den is a fun, inclusive club for children 0-16 with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities and their families.

What we do:

Each month various activities are set up catering for all needs with a fun theme in mind. Activities include messy play, sensory play, a reading corner, music, construction, and craft.

We ask for a small donation on the door to help fund the club. Suggested amount £1. Refreshments are available for both children and adults.

Our Vision

This ministry is run by Tim and Rochelle. It is something very close to their hearts, as parents of a severely disabled son, with a life limiting condition. Their hope is to create a safe, fun place for families who have children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. The aim is to help families find their true selves and be able to grow as a unit, building stronger bonds. The need for this ministry is huge within our community, as a lot of families have no choice but to stay home, as many places don’t cater for their needs. We want no boundaries here. Just love, acceptance and inclusion.

This group runs on the third Saturday of each month 1-3pm all year round.
